At the Freestyle Players Association, we are dedicated to creating a welcoming and inclusive community for all freestyle players.

.

We are committed to fostering an environment that is free from harassment, assault, and discrimination by establishing principles to implement in our bylaws such as:

  • Safety: The safety and well-being of our athletes, members, and participants should be priorities. We are committed to implementing and enforcing safe sport policies that protect individuals from both physical and emotional harm.
  • Education and Awareness: We want to raise awareness in our community about the importance of respectful and inclusive behavior. Open dialogues to create a culture of mutual respect are encouraged.
  • Reporting Mechanisms: There will be clear and confidential reporting mechanisms for anyone who experiences or witnesses any misconduct. Reports will be taken seriously, and steps will be taken to address and resolve any issues just and impartially.
  • Accountability: We are committed to holding ourselves accountable for upholding these principles, and we will regularly review and update our safe sport policies to reflect the evolving needs of our community.

.

Our anti-discrimination team led by Char Powell is already working on implementing safe sport guidelines in Freestyle Frisbee. Any feedback about this topic is welcome and will be carefully considered!

.

By adopting these principles and implementing these safe sport policies and guidelines, the FPA aims to create an environment where all members can participate, compete, and enjoy freestyle sports free from fear, discrimination, and harassment.

We believe that this commitment will help us build a stronger, more inclusive freestyle community. The FPA is dedicated to making freestyle sports a safe and welcoming space for everyone. Together, we can make our community a positive example of respect, equity, and inclusivity in sport.

.

Thank you for your continued support and commitment to the FPA’s vision of safe sport for all.
