Bethany sent this out, expanding on Paul’s previous post regarding FPAW – it has a lot of important information.

Excitement is building about the FPA World Championships in New York! I am looking forward to jamming with as many of you as possible, and hanging out at the Brooklyn Urban Cultural Center (BUCC), where many / most of us will be staying. There are only a few spots left at the BUCC. Don’t miss out!

Here you can find information on: the BUCC, the requirement for paid-up FPA membership, tournament registration, and partners. Please forward this email to the Italian, German, and other jammer listservs.

BUCC Info

The NYC tournament team has put down a big chunk of money and reserved the entire BUCC for us, from Friday, July 29 thru Tuesday, August 9. From what Daniel has told me, and what I see on their website, the BUCC will provide a super-affordable ($500 for all 12 nights, or $50 per night!), super-fun central gathering spot.

If you check out their website, you will see that the folks at the BUCC specialize in helping visitors and newcomers looking to live in NY (including/especially those from other countries) to connect with the resources they need. They are used to hosting a diverse and fun-loving group of people – like us!! There is a big back yard there, where the welcoming party may take place.

Reserve your spot now! Send your PayPal payment to frisbeenyc@gmail.com. Or you can send a check. If you have questiosns, email Daniel O’Neill at daniel@dvoneill.com. There are only a few spots left. Don’t miss out on this great deal!

Please register for FPAW. It is critical we have your information and your payments as soon as possible. We will be assessing a late fee starting on July 1st of an additional $15, so please get your registrations in soon. If you have registered but did not complete the PayPal process you can submit your $60 USD payment via PayPal to frisbeenyc@gmail.com. After submitting the payment please confirm by sending an email to rogervmeier@gmail.com and be sure to specifically confirm who the payment is for and your partners. If anyone wants to pay by check let me know and we can provide details. We now have the Looking for Partners section available off the online Registration page. This information comes from what has been submitted on the online registration. So if you want to add yourself to the Looking for Partners list please just complete the registration process. If you have already registered but want to update your Looking for Partners status (add or remove) please let me know at rogervmeier@gmail.com so I can update the list.
