The link below contains an important survey regarding FPAW’22 in Tel Aviv. Please read the provided information very carefully and answer the questions to help us better understand how to proceed. Your collaboration is appreciated!
After reviewing the results of the surveys taken in 2019 by the judging committee and more meetings with the Competition Director (Thomas Nötzel) and the Project Director (James Wiseman), the new version of the judging manual has been revised and approved by the board members, updated with the current judging system, and is now available. Click the link below to download it.
Education for the use of the new judging system has been done during various tournaments in the past and will be done also during FPAW: judges will be reminded of the changes to the judging manual and of how the judging system works.
We are also working on more educational contents for the judging system, to help competitors judge to the best of their abilities.
Freestyle is a growing sport, and the competitions and the way that the community evaluates tricks are continuously evolving. Hence, this certainly won’t be the last update to be expected!
We welcome you to give us more feedback after reading the manual and testing the judging system.
The new input you provide is vital in order to continuously improve the system and in helping us better understand the willingness of the community.
