    Richie is truly one of the most innovative players of all time. He is credited with applying lubricants on to discs to extend the nail delay. His long time partner Joey Hudoklin and him set the tone for the future of Freestyle when they saw the capabilities of the 165 gram disc. Richie’s move to Venice and later Santa Barbara from his native New York would forever change the way freestyle was played. Selected as the Skippy Sez Decades Awards Most Under Rated Player of the 1980’s.
