That’s how Amy and I feel about this year’s Beach Stylers. The Friday OB
jam and pie party were epic. The move to La Jolla made for a flatter and
richer experience. We had soooo much room to scurry, and with the turnout
of so many jammers, every mob-op was special in it’s own way.

 

The competitive play, with so much difficult variety portrayed by many
teams, was phenomenal. All competitive rounds ran smooth and on time. The
TD got to jam to his heart’s content this year, as after having done a few
rodeos, I’ve gratefully gotten more efficient at runnin rounds, and
processing the ppw, thus makin more time for shreddin. Yes!

 

Many thanx to Amy, who’s beef and vegan w/tempeh pies this year were the
best yet. The copper medallion idea was great too. To Gerry who came down
early to help, and to Marie for rallying thru her cold to get her and Hank
down here. To Jan Shreck, who casually helped haul and tabulate, all
while shredding it up to his heart’s content. To Pavel and Kristi,
who brightened our world for a spell. And to Matt, for his hard earned
mastery, that he makes look so easy…for him. Everyone who came out and
had such a good time, thank you for coming.
