Lisa’s training in the theatre allows her to bring unique performance and movement skills to her freestyle play. Like many other disc athletes, she has competed in Ultimate frisbee, tennis, and a variety of other competitive sports that enhance disc and teamwork skills and foster sportsmanship. In order to stay flexible, focused, and strong for competitions, Lisa’s current fitness/cross-training regimen includes integrated step fitness, yoga, weight training, and dancing.
Lisa has earned a total of 16 major titles. She began her career in 1991 in the Pacific Northwest of the United States and, with the opportunity to partner and practice with some of the world’s top players, she quickly progressed to the top of the sport. With her partners Mary Lowry and Cindy St. Mary, she has won the World Championships 10 times in the Women’s Pairs category. She has won six Mixed Pairs titles with her partners Matt Gauthier and Arthur Coddington.
