The nomination window for the Freestyle Disc Hall of Fame opens on November 1st and extends through December 31st of this year.

The Committee will consider the nominees’ merits and will vote for the 2026 wave of inductees later this spring.

The FPA is now soliciting bids for both 2027 and 2028 FPA Worlds. We have a really special 2026 Worlds upcoming in Munich after having a really awesome FPAW this year in Toronto! Thinking outside the box is encouraged — with priority for bids that are outdoors (unless forced indoors by weather). Please use the link below to apply.

We are moving to a two-year bidding window to help with longer-term planning for organizers, which should benefit organizers, players, potential sponsors, and fans of the sport alike.

Consider applying and let’s grow the sport together! The deadline is December 31, 2025, and site selections will occur soon after.

We are also interested in ideas for other possible events — such as a Beach Major? A Japanese Freestyle event? Perhaps something similar to the classic EFOs and AFOs of the past.
Starting today, our event calendar will be on our new Event Page. You can log in to create events, I have tried to make the process as simple as possible so everyone can take part.

Once you have created an event, you can access the Admin Area for the event. Here you can create a schedule, or invite others to co-host the event with you. They will also be able to edit the event and schedule.

But it’s worth creating an account, even if you are not hosting events. If you are logged in, you can also click “Attending” on other events, letting organizers know how many are attending their event. You also get a list of your events that you are attending, as well as a countdown to your next event, in the “Attending” section 🙂

Dear FPA-Board,
I just learned by accident that our Annual Membership Meeting is tomorrow.
I’m sorry, but it’s not the first time that such an important information dries up in the sand. I know you ‘re all working voluntarily but I don’t understand how something like this can happen. Nobody is on FB any more. Except the old generation of Freestyle Frisbee Players. We need to pull the stream of information from there asap. Did you try to reach out the the Players in a different way, too? If yes in how and why did some members didn’t get notified?
I’m very well aware that everyone is working voluntary and that the FPA as well as other federations is lacking staff but I don’t understand who this keeps happening, especially for the most important event for members. I’ve addressed my difficulties with the FPAs information politics in the past already and I don’t like to be put in that role of the permanent whiner. Something like this simply cannot happen.
What happened to the newsletter? I personally think you should cancel the event and sent out proper invitations to every member for another date.
