Welcome Party - Blue Star Café, Wed, August 4. 7:00 pm
The welcome party will be in the back room at the Blue Star Café and Pub, located at 4512 Stone Way North (at 45th St), Seattle, WA 98103 (206-548-0345)...Google map here. All payment and teams need to be provided in advance (by 1:00 pm on Wednesday), so that pools can be set for the following day. There is no "late registration". All teams need to be registered in advance. If you still need to complete a registration form, you can do this at the Blue Star, and you can pick up your player package as well!

The Blue Star is one of our excellent tournament sponsors. They are donating 15% of revenue generated from the Welcome Party to the event, so we hope you will enjoy some beverages and dinner. Greetings Jammers!
Well, another FPA Worlds has come to a close. As all of our friends head to their respective homes or on to other destinations for more jams and travel, we reflect on the joy and the craziness and the fun of the past few days...In spite of the cool, misty weather, including a rained-out Saturday afternoon, the winds were for the most part kind, and players gave their very best on the jam fields. It was wonderful to see such incredibly high level of play, and a good turnout from the international players who traveled so far to join us at this event. The best part of every tournament, though, is gathering with friends, laughing, hugging, and being together again. Thanks so much from Mary and me and the entire FPA Worlds team for all of the great performances, the help setting up and managing the fields, and for all of your kindnesses. Special thanks to those of you watching from afar that sent all of the emails and messages that kept us inspired. See you in Prague!
