Return to the FPA Page.
Set at Green Lake, the place of shred, the universal jammers put the viewers to bed.
Mary and Lisa provided the party, and it was going to rock, until John got smarty.
The open, mixed, and co-op were fun to see, but the Juniors were the ones that mastered the 'B.
The Juniors, shred-boy and lollypop were very hot, but we'll be back next year, I _____ you not.

One of the best FPA Worlds of all time
thanks to the hard work of Tournament Directors Lisa Hunrichs and Mary Lowry and many
other Seattle locals. Here are just a few random thoughts - A perfect setting on
Green Lake, great weather, good wind most of the time, excellent prizes from some great
sponsors, better than average cash awards, players from Sweden, Germany, France, Puerto
Rico, and Switzerland, on-site food and drink, entertainment between rounds that kept the
crowd interested, results in the finals that had few complaints, excellent party
orchestrated by Dan Mag with a cool band, first class Italian dinner donated by a gracious
Juniors supporter, lots of TV coverage, lots of jamming after the rounds with great music
by Getty, the new Juniors event that provided as much fun for the elder throwers and
spectators as it did for the kids, great videos by Blair, and great overall organization
by all the Seattle folks involved.
